Crazy! Getting second new TL in 2 weeks!

I started a post about two weeks ago when i purchased a 12 tl with tech forged metal. I've been regretting getting a boring car so I decided to call the dealership today and see what they can do. Turns out there was a problem with my paperwork so I can just come in and hand it back! Couldn't believe it! Just got to the dealership and paid $3K more and getting a white on black sh-awd 6spd manual. Soo excited. Will post pics when I get home. I knew I was gonna hate myself for not getting exactly what I wanted two weeks ago because I got caught up in the moment and wanted to take a new car home. Let this be a lesson to all; don't rush and make sure you get what you want!

I purchased a 4G TL. Loving it. I hate that they changed the bolt pattern. I have a set of 20" wheels off my 07 TL that wont fit on the 4G TL.

I am sure there was never really a problem in the paper work! Dealers will do anything to get another sale, even if it includes lying.

so i still cant believe i did this; just got back home and wow the sh-awd vs fwd is a night and day difference. taking corners and highway on ramps is much more enjoyable.. the only down side so far that i can see is that the gas mileage is considerably worse (17/25 vs 20/29). here are two quick pics in my garage as it was getting dark

lol thanks, forged metal is nice as well. my ideal would have been graphite w/taupe interior; but the 6spd manual is only available with ebony interior.. either way when it comes to the manual it's slim pickings and you take whats available

My '12 had some fitment issues where the upper grille and headlights meet the hood.. I had the dealership do some adjusting.. The OP will notice it when the initial sparkle wears off a little

Let me add my congrats on your new car! Being a BWP owner with SH-AWD and Tech package (with those same 18" wheels), I can assure you that you have a nice car. I don't mind the stick but prefer the AUTO for a few reasons but regardless, that is a GORGEOUS car you have there. Any plans on putting some accessories? I see you have some splash guards on the front and back...were those already on the car or you bought them? My rear ones are B/O and never put any front ones because of the side skirts.

getting it put on tomorrow; funny because the guy that the dealership works with is booked out for 3 weeks; so i booked him when i bought the first TL during memorial day weekend; so it worked out perfect

ya the car came with a few dealer installed options; the splash guards, wheel locks, and the trunk tray. honestly i'm just going to tint it and leave it the way it is; no mods for me, love it the way it is

Nice deal you executed! I know you said you're done for now with the tints-let's see how long you can hold and and not let the "mod bug" bite!
