Crankshaft Position Sensor
Crankshaft Position Sensor
2012 Acura TL
I saw another post that says it is located near the timing belt. I am seeing a sensor by the oil filter next to the Crankshaft Pulley.
Could mine possibly be different? TY.

No, that is the oil pressure switch, the crankshaft position sensor is behind the timing belt cover i believe and should look like this https://www.oemacuraparts.com/oem-pa...or-37500r40a01
This all started with the serpentine belt splitting and getting chewed up.
I replaced and it happened again.
I looked deeper and found pieces wound around the inside of the pulley.
I removed them with an angled pick but now the crankshaft turns but there is no spark. It just whirs from spinning. Ideas?

When you say Serpentine belt, are you talking about the belt that drives your alternator and AC compressor? The one you can see when you open the hood? Tearing it up will just cause you to lose the alternator charging and the AC. The car will still run until the battery dies.
If you chewed up the timing belt, you may have killed the engine. The timing belt is under the timing belt covers, so which belt are we talking about before we discuss interference engines?
