Coolant cap's missing tube

Coolant cap's missing tube
Hi guys,
I was getting my spark plugs changed yesterday and thought I'd pop the coolant reservoir and have a quick look. When I opened it, my buddy quickly noticed the missing tube under the cap. We used a small stick and poked inside to see if it fell off , but nothing was there in the coolant :S . Last time i got the coolant checked was over 6 months ago through a tech but he never mentioned anything at that time. Any advice on what i should to as a precaution and where could i find the pipe online for my car, 2011 tl 3.7. Thanks!
