Close the Deal?

Hello All,

I am about to pick-up a Silver Moon Tech AWD w/ Ebony interior this week. I have an OTD price 0f 39,400. What do you guys think of this price? Any recommendations/suggestions?

Seems pretty good. If we you out 10% for tax and registration, that's $35,460. I paid 32,500 for a base. So you are only paying $3k for both awd and tech.

Damn. I guess my deal wasn't as good as I thought.

What is the price of the car NOT including tax/title/license? The out the door means nothing to any of us because taxes differ from each state.

Any trade involved? What are the dealer 'processing' fees?

Right now there is a $2000 incentive plus $1200 finance incentive from Acura corporate to dealer.

So...the price before TTL should be invoice (including destination) - $3200. Remember there is also about $1200 in 'holdback' money that the dealer usually doesn't want to touch...but you can bargain for it. They are making a very good profit even you get invoice - $3200..remember that when you negotiate. Go the last day of the month and see what they can do for you.

Hope this helps...good luck!

** Funny I know all the prices...but I haven't bought my TL yet!

10% in taxes!! Holy cow Thank God I don't live in CA!

Remember...we do not know where the OP lives, so the deal might not be very good based on his tax rate/documentation fees/etc.

e.g. Oregon and a few other states have 0% sales tax...so the deal for OP may be terrible depending on where he lives

Yeah. 8.75% tax, $400 registration fees, and $885 destination charge.

The good thing about California is I only need summer tires and AWD is not needed!

The $2000 incentive is only available on FWD models and $1750 on AWD. Now, my question is how do you find out about the finance incentives from Acura to the dealer??

Great Dealer... I have purchased two TL's from them... I did both deals over the phone, drove the the 4.5 hour drive closed the deal and back home... Normally save close to $4,000 over local Pittsburgh dealers deals who are very unwilling to move on margin were Pohanka deals with volume sales and units sold....
