Can we please create a How-To forum?

Hi guys, sorry to create a useless thread, but I wondering if the mods would be willing to create a How-To sub-forum within our 4G forum? It would be a great place to get quick answers on how to do different mods for out TLs rather than searching through hundreds of threads that have misleading titles! For example, Nexson's grill painting thread is priceless and would suck to lose it under a bunch of useless threads like this one!!! Just a suggestion... don't throw stuff at me!

it's a work in progress:

https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-2009-2014-123/4g-tl-service-department-questions-answers-check-here-first-701842/

nexson's thread will be added when he is done.

Come to think of it. I would ask that members link threads they believe should belong in the Service Department here in this thread. We do lose track of good threads....

The "change your own cabin air filter should be one."

Some suggestions for future "How-tos with a 'dummified' picture guide:" DIY oil change and DIY rear differential fluid change

Oh my, have I made a worthwhile contribution to this site? Ideas are worth something too I guess!

I also am writing this to test out my signature and my avatar.

agree did the air cabin air filter (after I read here how easy) and engine air filter myself.

now just need to find the best place to buy the filters (dealer charged me $82 total for the the 2) I'l probably bring the honda part numbers to a honda dealer next time and see if cheaper, did look some for online - but shipping seem to not make it worth while)

When I had my 1G TSX, I ordered 2 cabin air filters a few years back at pretty good prices (~$12 for one back then).

http://www.fleetfilter.com/

I don't have access to my car manual right now; do you have the 4G TL's air cabin filter number?

the honda # on the cabin filter is 80292-SHJ-A41

the honda # on the engine air filter is 17220-RK2-A00 (for the 3.7 liter)(but I think their all the same?)

I looked on your link for fleetfilter - and the photos look correct for both filters above

cabin filter on the fleet filter link: Wix 24815 & Napa 4815 Air Filter
Code: 24815
Price: $9.95

engine airfilter: Wix 49041 & Napa 9041 Air Filter
Code: 49041
Price: $15.69

So some $25 for the two -but couldn't get the site to generate sales tax and shipping cost - with out creating an actual order - but I going to definitely check out it next time I need to replace the filters
