The voice control actually works now.
Congrats on the car.

My M is slightly differnet inside than the standard 3's.

BTW yes the audio system in the TL was MUCH better. but i am almost getting double the fuel economy in the bmw from the tl.

Thanks for the advice....I'll make sure to keep that in mind. AT the moment, I am waiting to see what the 2014 TLX will look like. I drove by the Honda dealership today and they had a white Honda Accord....NICE set of wheels!

I agree, its more money but it also offers a great package. Sometime, you got to live a little and enjoy your hard earned money *lol*

You know, if you're preparing to spend the amount of $$ on the GS, the upcoming RLX will be in the same price range too. Also, the RLX will be out much sooner than the 5G TL.

Edward....You bring a great point! I am really excited to see the production RLX by the end of November (released at the auto show) and eventually, the TLX. I am not planning on making a new acquisition until at least next spring which will hopefully, by then, will have some leaks of the TLX. If I am going to go the Lexus route, I would need to wait till the spring of 2014 to carry my TL to the end of its lease UNLESS someone wants to buy my TL or the Lexus dealer would buy out my TL (Which I doubt would happen). That is the advantage of staying with Acura, my dealership offers me a great opportunity to get out of my leases much earlier than the full termm but that is because I remain loyal to them. If I decide to become a "free agent", I will need to carry this current lease to the end of its term.

In a few weeks I'll be leaving the Acura fold as well. Will be picking up my S5 in a few weeks. Everything I've wanted in a car ... AWD, over 330 HP combined with nearly as much torque ... and the main attraction ... only 2 doors!

Congratz! Audi's S4/S5 are a head turner, though I'm not sure about maintenance costs. You should start a new thread and post pics when you can. I have to admit, the S4 and a CPO 911 have peaked me interests lately...

On the other hand, how many miles do you have on your TL? Looks like you won't be hitting the 200k mile mark on your Acura this time around...

Congrats on your new purchase.

Are you also getting the "Quattro with sport diff." option on your S5 ?

If you're planning to keep the car longer than 4 years, make sure you also buy the extended warranty.

I plan on doing an 'out with the old/in with the new' thread in a couple of weeks after I pick it up. Already have the first two mods in the works ... RS5 grill and XPEL Ultimate front wrap. Currently sitting at 83579 miles. This will mark the 2nd 4-door I've owned in the past 12 years which didn't hit 90k miles.

Sports Rear Diff, Adaptive Damping, Prestige Package. Color is Estoril Blue Crystal Effect, which is "the" color ... especially when the sun hits it.

To me, the A5 has been the best looking coupe since it was introduced, but I didn't like the clutch in the original 3.2 6-speed. After they replaced it with the 2.0 Turbo, I just couldn't wrap my head around a $50K 4-banger ... and since the S5 is now getting the SC'd V6 that was found in the Cabrio last year and is no longer using the under-powered 350 hp V8 (along with the gas guzzler tax it enjoyed), coupled with Acura's apparent absolute refusal to offer anything reasonable in a 2 door configuration, it' time to move on to something which truely gives me an upgrade to Y2K3CL-S, but with a few more bells n whistles.

Six Shifter, congrats for the new ride, the A5/S5 is one of the only 2 Audis I like (the A7 is the other)

This is the problem with the "non tier 1" mindset of Acura.....it does not offer a choice once you want to go upscale....I believe this willbe the death knell of the brand if they keep pursuing this strategy of being "smart luxusy" or rather "not luxury all the way"

Acura need coupes and bigger/more powerful engines and models.

I can still remember the first time I ever saw an Acura billboard back in So Cal. There was a 3/4 view of the original Legend, and the words above read:

"Genuine Mercedes"

and below the picture the words read:

"Replacement Part".

It's unfortunate that the Legend (in coupe format at least) was never really replaced ... and also sad that the same billboard for the CL read:

"Genuine Honda"

"Accord Upgrade"
