Black plastic piece under the rear bumper.

There is a black plastic piece under the rear bumper(2012 TL )
between the muffler tips.Has anybody painted that to match the colour of the body?I have a white TL and was wondering what it would look like painted...some pictures would be great,or maybe a photoshop trick...
Thanks for any help!

This is what I was thinking to do...I will try it with white plasti dip with coat of plasti dip pearlizer...and if it looks good I will paint that piece to match the body colour....
I like it...

Never seen that done, try it with the plasti dip and see what you think,at least it is reversible. Personally i like the black but you never know...you might be on to something and that is what modding is all about.

Nice to see another member from Toronto

I read they added the rear diffuser to make the rear bumper appear smaller. I'd like to see how it looks like too but I'm not sure I would personally do it.

You have a great idea to hit it with plasticoat first so you can see if you want to commit to actual paint. It may look great! Unique idea

^^ not a great idea.. waste of time and money.. its not easy to peel off plastidip.. there is no need to "test" it as just imagining it already looks like shit

Personally, I agree with leaving it black. Just me though.
