I am a new owner of a 2010 tl awd and am looking for a bike rack that will not damage the bumper like my current one looks like it will do. Any suggestions? Single bike, I would prefer a trunk rack but will install a hitch if necessary. Thanks for all input.

I have bought the Saris Bones 3 and used a couple of times and it is okay for short trips around town, but I would not trust it at high speed or with more than one bike. It seems to need to sit on a bumper to be truly stable. Also, the metal of the trunk lid is not too thick and I worry it might dent if the straps are tightened too much or if I carry more than one bike. I'll give it a few more tries before I keep it.

I love my RDX and put both bikes on top. There is alot of wind drag and I do put the front wheels in the hatch. However, if you ride in the woods, I recommend you buy an MDX/RDX
