Best Seat Position for Comfort

For everyday driving, I think the 2009 has one of the most comfortable drivers seats of any car I've been in. However, I've noticed that I tend to get a backache on trips of 2 hours or more. This is particularly strange to me because I had a 2002 TL and never had backaches on longer trips in that car. I also didn't think the 2002 seats felt as supportive which is another reason I'm surprised that the 2002 caused less back issues on trips than the 2009.

I am wondering whether anybody has seat position recommendations that might eliminate the back discomfort. I am 6'2" and tend to recline my seat a bit more than some might do. But I also did this in the 2002 and it never caused a problem. Therefore, I'm thinking that it might be the tilting of the seat that causes an issue. The 2009 seat feels much firmer than the 2002 so I am also wondering whether this could be a contributing factor to the pain. Are there any back experts out there that might have a suggestion for improving comfort on longer trips?

The seat position I use is down down, up up, left right, left right, A+B, A+B.

That usually is the best setting.

I'm the #2 driver of the car and I am 6' and compared to my wifes setting, my seat is lowered, back slitely tilted back and the lumbar setting is to the max. After the seat has been adjusted, I have the steering wheel set so I can see the entire guage cluster but the steering wheel is pulled toward me ever so slitely.
Not sure if this all makes sense? Bottom line your going to have to play around with it.
I like the fact that you have 2 driver seat settings, but I think they should have designed it to include the steering wheel & the rearview mirror to be included in the ajustments.
