Don't forget the 6MT to make it even more rare; especially now given 6MT's don't come in any "colors", interior or exterior.

Wholly smoke!! I can't even get close to doing my car in such a short mount of time but then again, I am very pick about the routine in car washing.

Well I should say it only takes about 10 minutes for a quick wash.

I'm with potmilks and tenstrum here too, CBP/blk is the best combo IMHO. I love my BRP/Taupe, but there is something special about the way the light and reflections work off the 4G TL lines in CBP.

I vote for white on black or black on black, cant go wrong with either.

I usually pick white over black every time, but for some reason, the 4G TL looks really good in black.

I agree. I bought the TL in Basque Red Pearl II with Parchment leather interior. It is beautiful color! The only thing I worry about are stains on the leather because the Parchment is a light beige color. We'll see how it fairs. The dealer put some stain master treatment on it. Hopefully that will work along with being very careful,

As a new GLM owner, I must say the colour is amazing and the car looks so sharp and rich when it's clean.... but after one drive, it has a visible layer of dust on it that drives me crazy. My wife says I'm OCD and the car looks spotless to her, but we have differing opinions on what constitutes a clean car.

It has made me contemplate my decision somewhat - if I could turn back the clock two months and buy it again, I very well might get the white one with black leather. Never been drawn to white cars, but it looks very elegant on the TL with the Advance/Elite wheels. The umber looks too orange for my liking and I worry it would get old after awhile. The Mrs. really didn't like it so it was a no-go for me.

Bottom line - the car looks great with most of the colour options. The black when clean is killer. All personal preference, but if you're OCD like me, you may want to seriously consider the white or silver...

Umber = good

I've never been a fan of black on black, although I know many are.

I fell in love with the Grigio metallic (charcoal/dark grey) with umber interior, so bought it in '09 and still love it.

I have Grigio and Black Interior. It's like a brownish gray, the color varies in the light but mostly looks like...well grigio. It gets dirty so quick, but after a wash I think it's one of the classiest colors in the TL line up. If i had to do it over I would stick to a graphite, black, possibly white.

Car will be wrapped in a matte dark metallic 3M Vinyl around Christmas time for a change. I've had the car for only 3 weeks...subjective.

Best Exterior/Interior: Mayan Bronze Metallic with Umber interior hands down. If it wasn't $18k more, I would have bought it. For paint colors, it's regretful how conservative most owners are today (and auto manufacturers) versus the 60s and 70s where there were so many varieties for paint.

In Houston, I see black, white, silver, and gray, and maybe a dull red now and then. However, the MBM color is incredible in person. I saw a Mayan TL parked next to a very expensive sedan, yet I didn't care for the other because it was just boring black on black. I'm shocked how Honda provided this combo because you only see it in very high-end cars.

Second Best: Bellanova White with *Parchment interior. This is the one I bought. An Acura TL's essence is an affordable daily driver that is a notch or two above the Camry and Accord. White or silver exterior is best for the TL as black is for BMW/Mercedes and Red for Ferrari (though it would be mundane if all of us chose the same color). The pearl white is easy to keep clean, and the parchment interior feels more open and cool for Houston's warm weather.

*There is a rare combo of Bellanova White with Umber interior. Very nice since it reminds me of the White M3 with red interior.

I dislike black interiors now. In the Texas heat near the Gulf Coast, it's just not a good color even if it's easier to keep clean.

I personally own White/Ebony for upkeep sake but also like the looks of Silver/Ebony. I've seen a few Mayan Bronze and think the TL looks really sharp in that color though.

Black interiors, IMO, look the best after years of wear if you plan on keeping it a long time. However, my 2012 is the first black exterior car I've owned. It looks absolutely amazing when clean, and also probably looks the meanest in black. But jeez, it's a lot of work. Then within days, my kids hand prints are all over the back doors. I'm on the fence whether I'd do black again, but this car's sticking around for a while. Too much fun.

Just very curious. Thank you.

i have black on black and i like it (again subjective) it might be hotter but with Tinting I think it's not that hot. I love the color Umber but I do agree "although some have said it looks too orange to them.." and I am not sure if I wanna see that color for coming 5-6 yrs. I feel black is safe

my 2nd choice was graphite metallic with black int.

I chose the black on black as option B. I really wanted white on black, but they were hard to find and I wasn't willing to take a dealer demo. The wife talked me out of black/umber and I'm starting to thank her... like the poster above says, it is a great color, but not sure I want to look at it for the duration of the car's life. However, if the umber was a bit more brown like the Grand Cherokee Saddle interior, I would have jumped on it...

IMO i think WDP pearl is one of the best colors on the TL, which is the color i have on my 2011 fwd tech. I also feel that dark tints on a white car make it stand out even better.

Interior colors: the black looks more sporty, the taupe color looks more classy, the umber looks more european.

Exterior colors: the black looks killer and mean, the white looks slick. Acura needs to offer more real colors though.

Especially in the 6MT!!!!

I like the Alabaster Metallic Silver and the Parchment interior. I agree that the lighter interior colour gives the interior a more roomy feel. I had the black on black in the past and its just all one color. Nothing stood out.

Well, I have an '11 6MT that I had to have built. I had to settle (for some reason) for a black on black. I love my M/T, but I would have much preferred
many other color combos. Especially a different interior.

keep in mind the lighter interiors show the dirt sooo much faster.

My TL is WDP on Ebony. My wife's MDX is Pearl White on Taupe. her interior always looks dirty... I detail it and it's looking dirty in no time. And it's not just because we have kids in it.. even the front seats where we sit get discolored... if they had sold the MDX with white/black we would have bought it but it only came in taupe at the time.

on the TL... I think the WDP/Ebony cars are the best...

I am very biased to the Bellanova White exterior with a black interior. That being said, I am also aware that the bumpers can have a slight color variation under certain lighting conditions. On the flip side, there is virtually no swirl marks to be seen

Did you have the dealer stain master the leather? I have found that helps a lot! Dirt just wipes away with a cloth.

I initially wanted the blk/blk but ended up with the blk ext with grey/black int.

The 2 tone interior is really starting to grow on me

My vote is for the BWP w/Umber....unfortunately i couldn't get the Umber with the Manual Transmission, so black leather for me. It was either the stick, or Umber, i chose stick! But stupid Acura, why couldn't i just have both???
