Backup Sensors

My search could not come up with an answer so that may say that these are not recommended. Anyone ad these sensors to their 4G. Are they worth the investment? If so, best place to get them?

Best regards,

Mugz

I had them on my infiniti G37. They are annoying and they make the bumper look ugly I had them turned off all the time. Don't really see the point when there is a back up camera.

Thanks "s", I would have thought the sensors would have accompanied the camera with the tech option but it seems that Acura believes it is only needed with more expensive models.

Having driven other cars with the option, I felt it added to the "making sure you know what's behind you" feature. Heck, the Infiniti even applies the brake when it senses an obstruction.

Perhaps the same could be said about the BLIS. As more and more manufacturers are including this option, I wounder if it is available as an aftermarket ad-on.

Regards...

Not worth the price or the aggravation! Back-up camera eliminates the need for the sensors.

There's really no need for the sensors if you have the camera. I was recently in my father-in-law's BMW 335D and he opted for sensors and no camera - no comparison, the camera is far superior. I'm not sure what type Acura uses, but it has such a wide view its saved me several times from asshat parking lot speeders that come out of no where

Thanks to all that chimed in. I've heard enough to convince me to save my money and put it towards a set of rims.
