Yeah, I just had a teleconference with my supplier, they wanted to do it in Fiberglass, but I pushed for a 2 piece sonic welded ABS plastic shell. We have to get this thing rolling, all the back and forth is delaying it too much. Tomorrow I receive the first quote on tooling with a schedule, then we start on the prototype with pics.

the price of production is being negotiated right now, all depending on volume of production. Our cost will decrease per grille if we can produce a 100 piece buy in with our supplier. So cost will be determined by the amount of grilles we sell. So what we are going to do is first focus on the prototype sample, if that brings in ALOT of interest and preorders, then the pricing will be lower, etc, etc.
We start on Friday with pics to follow of the progress.

Listen, the car is going in for 3 weeks right now, if you guys want that front lip, speak now. Because the A-Spec front is hard to compete with. For pricing, refer to the Accord front lip pricing since it too will be ABS and it will come prepped and primed ready for paint, with 3M tape pre-attached.

No!!! They're non-painted. Check this, Rondog left a comment about the grill to other post: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=704765&page=3
Rondog I think you should open a new post or your website, to tell everyone about the grill and lip instead of reply to two different post...
Also, the front lip, everyone is signing it but which front lip is going to be make for the final decision?? And the pricing is refer to Accord front lip, so that mean around or exactly $420?
If the lip is for $420, reasonable; but $645 for the grill...that's a little bit too expensive.

I agree with the grill being too expensive. If that $ included paint that would be alright but with paint, approximately $150-200 and install. You're looking in the neighborhood of $1000. Plus the fact that I am in Canada and the exchange is horrible. I just don't think it will be worth it. I could almost get the whole body kit from Acura!

645 + shipping + paint + install... around $1000 for a grill..
Maybe for a painted full front bumper that is kind of reasonable,
but otherwise, Id rather just trade in my car or maybe there
will be one made in China soon.
