Anyone install a trailer hitch?
There were only a couple previous posts regarding the installation of a trailer hitch. I'm wondering if anyone has installed one and has some pics available. I'm looking at this option for a bike rack.

I had one installed. Works great. Only issue is that you can't (I am told) put more than two bikes on the rack, or it will be too heavy. But from a looks standpoint, it is not at all unsightly. Send me an email at jnhyman@hotmail.com and I will send you a photo.

It would be nice to see the entire back to see how it looks with the tailpipes...etc
I'd also question the 2 bikes. I would think that a hitch like that could pull at least 500lbs or more.

(not a 4th gen but if it can handle the weight of this, yours can handle more than 2 bikes)

TLs are not approved or rated for towing. (3 or 4 G)
The owner's manual cautions against it.
Because of warranty issues and because even a loaded trunk will cause rapid wear of the rear tires, it's not a good idea.
The rear suspension is tuned for handling and has features to compensate for FWD understeer. These methods work good for handling but a load on the back throws the rear tires way out of alignment. It is a known issue for 3G especially.
This may be why the installer said no more than two bikes. I recommend you check with the dealer before you install the hitch and ask them if it will negatively impact your warranty on a) the vehicle, or b) the tires.
