Anybody knows how much VLTs my 2010 TL glasses has?
I'm thinking of tinting my car without being stopped by cops.
I know I have to have 50% front and 35% rear in VA.
But my car already has some degree of tinting or color, I want to know how much percentage can I put on the glasses.
Is there anyone know correct VLT of 2009 or 2010 TL?

My tint guy said there's usually around 90% VLT on the factory glass. He put 45% Huper which is 44-45 VLT and it tested on the light meter at 35 spot on...
The place you take it to get tinted will be able to make sure that it meets the legal requirements. Depending on the shop, they won't install tint that is not legal in your state.
Have them test it before you go to make sure it's not illegal.
