I am close to pulling the trigger on a 2010 Sh Awd, white pearl w/ebony interior and tech, I am going up on saturday to
take a look and a drive and maybe do the deal
1. Is the trunk that small, can it fit 3-4 suitcases ?
2. Does the nav speak street names and can the voice
be silenced ?

 

Congratz on your choice! Absolutely smoking deals to be had on 4G TL's now. On average, Acura will be more reliable than Audi (ie. the model you are unfortunately dealing with right now), one of the main reasons I went with Acura instead of Audi/BMW.

1. I've stuck and stacked 4 suitcases in the trunk, plus a stroller and then some.

2. The nav can speak highway numbers, does not speak street names. The nav will display the street name on the display, and "tell you" how far you are from the street for the appropriate turn or arrival.

 

You will not be disappointed man, especially with the sh-awd!!

I wanted to comment on the nav system voice. For me, when I have plotted a route, it DOES say the street name is most cases. I think when I turn off the voice for routing, it turns off voice for everything (including reciting what song you're playing on the USB stick)

Street name guidance IS supported. Note that it's disabled by default.

"To access the guidance mode from the SET UP screen, select the “Other” tab, Routing & Guidance, and Street Name Guidance."
