I'll admit first off I have been a "lurker" on this forum for a long time, and I find that the advice and member knowledge about the Acura TL are AWESOME!!!

I currently own a 09 TL FWD Tech with approx. 56K on the ODO. I recently had the car serviced and was looking at the 13 TL AWD Advance. Long story short, the dealership has offered me the following:

13 TL AWD Advance Black/Umber
All season Mats / Trunk Mat / Locking Lug Nuts
Price before TTL $41,690 (all loyalty included in that price)
They can finance 60 months @ 1.9%, or 72 months @ 2.9%

I haven't had them look at my 09 for trade-in value, but I am hopeful they would offer around $20K

So my question to the forum is am I getting a good deal, or do I need to push them harder?

Push harder, you should be able to get at least another $1500 off, potentially closer to $2K off.

 

As a reference point, at the end of May, I got a similar config except for white for $40,000. But they did have two identical cars on the lot and I suspect they had been sitting there for a couple of months.

 

You can always push them harder!!! Way, way harder.

Sell the '09 yourself.

 

Try for 7500 off. That what I got on my 2wd advanced.
