Acura / Honda part numbers the same. Is the part the same?
I have a 2012 TL 3.7, and it needs a catalytic converter replacement for both Bank 1 and Bank 2.
Doing a little digging, I realized that The SAME part number and part are available for Honda at a fraction of the cost of being sold on Acura websites for one if the Cats.
Please note I want to go OEM instead of aftermarket. Does anyone know If these parts are a direct fit for both? It appears so.
Please See the part on the Honda website: https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...0-rk2-a00.html
Please see the part on the Acura Parts Website: https://www.acurapartsforless.com/oe...ry-18290rk2a00

I think they would cancel your order if the price is wrong. I ordered a switch priced at $35 from an acura dealer online. They emailed me that it was priced wrong & order was cancelled. Checked back in the same day and the price updated to $107...

This is what I found:
18290-RK2-A00 Genuine Acura Converter, Rear Primary (acurapartswarehouse.com)
OEM Converter, Rear 18290-RK2-A00 | Majestic Honda Automotive Parts
At the very least, before ordering, I would use the "Parts Availability' functionality under the 'email us' tab @HPN to check if it is, in fact, in stock.
Please report back, when possible, on your findings
