Unhappy Acura deletes TL and TSX from website

Well, Acura no longer has the TL or TSX on their website so they are now officially deleted from the Acura lineup. It is now just the ILX, TLX, RLX, RDX, and MDX. I guess that's pretty much the final goodbye for them now...

If you select "All Vehicles" they are still listed; as of 9:35pm CDT. But I hear ya. Their deletion has started.

The now uniformed vehicle model naming scheme sounds more professional and upscale, rather than a bunch of totally unrelated model names, like for the economy Honda division.

Wow...only 5 vehicles being offered by Acura now. If Acura wants to be taken seriously as a luxury brand they need to up that number ASAP and start offering more vehicles and more options.

They really arnt a luxury brand IMO. More of an upmarket/premium brand, but I think the general consumer takes them seriously for what they are. Value. As much as I don't like the styling of the TLX, its tough to make the argument that the I-4TLX isn't an excellent value. I would love to see a sport trim emerge. Weather they call it a Type S or whatever, make it available on their sedans. A TLX SH-AWD pushing 330+hp, 6MT, stiffer/lower suspension, a BBK up front(like the 3GTL Brembos), some slick split spoke 19" wheels, a well designed aero kit and maybe some interior refinements would be awesome. I realize that its only attractive to the minority enthusiast type, but id be all over it...Okay, ill stop beating the dead horse now.

I think you just described a 4G SH-AWD 6MT with the 19" HPT option!

As of 8/17 the TL is still up on acura.ca However, it's very interesting to note that they position the TLX above the TL. Despite the TL being larger, more upmarket, and having a higher starting price.

My only disappointment with Acura at this point is that they did not make more 6MT 4th gens. I have been looking for one to buy for the better part of 4 months now.

NSX listed under Future Vehicles

Also, been wondering if Acurazine admins will continue to leave the site headers as TL and TSX or if it would be combined to TLX once the 2019 TLX comes out

I wouldn't be so quick to judge the ZDX. Though it didn't sell very well, it's still one of the most unique Acura vehicles of all time (with one of their best interiors ever). Have fun with that Buick and all of the problems GM vehicles come with.

The problem is that there isn't enough 6MT buyers like you, to warranty even a short production run of 6MT cars.
