Acura Calipers
Hi Guys and Gals. Do anyone know how i would purchase Acura Calipers with the Acura logo on them for my 2012 TL-SH-AWD Advanced with 19inch wheels. Im going to my dealer to get my oil changed soon, and i was going to ask them but want to see what you guys might suggest.

I've seen a number of posts discussing this... I don't think anyone found a solution. I think that Heartls had the best solution, which is cleaning the rust off of the calipers and spraying them with high-temp paint to keep them looking clean.

do the RDX caliper covers fit the 4GTL?

yes they do!
the Acura branded calipers are Brembo calipers.
unfortunately, Acura hasnt produced any recent cars with the brembo calipers. the 2nd gen RL and the 3rd gen TL were the last cars to have these Big Brake Kits.
GGESQ brought up a great point! the RDX has brake covers that cover the puny little calipers and are not OVERLY expensive.
and you could always go the expensive route and buy a Big Brake Kit to put on your TL.

My cheap covers. Like them better than the stock view. Stamped aluminum sprayed flat black & bolted on.

I like the covers better then these hanging out. You don't even really notice them at all. Your results may vary.

Was an easy choice to make since even stock the 335is will put down 120ftlbs more torque that a V8 M3, I am up 165ftlbs over the M3. The M3 is a better choice for a track like VIR but I only do it a few times a year with the NC chapter of BMWCCA.
The M4 going turbo was part of the plan, 335is was to be a place holder till the M4 was released, since the turbo would give the M4 much more low end grunt. That plan was upset by the new StingRay Z-51 which is now at the top of the buy list for next summer. The StingRay will most likely remain pure stock because it covers all the bases I am interested in very well.

As for the rest of the car its still an E92 with extra vents in the front fenders & intakes on the hood. Can't say vents & scoops brings the word classier to mind. As for the covers beauty is in the eye of the beholder & you bought a G4 which is not very high on my nice to look at list.
If the truth be told the 135is with BMW logo calipers from the factory has them both beat.

Your 335 looks very dated compared to the 4G. Looks boring and dated to a 2004 3g with real Brembos and A spec wheels. Look for all the pictures of my cars on the the BMW site as well as thousands of posts for a car I don't own.
4G Envy!!!!

As I said beauty is in the eye of the beholder & Honda looks to beholding a new vision of beauty for the 5G TL
I don’t think trendy worked out all that well for them. BTW the 135 has Brembo & the 335 has ATE.

Really? You think a 2011 335 looks dated compared to a 4G? I own a 4G and I don't even remotely agree with that...

I had Brembo's on the 3G & painted the rear factory calipers gloss black to match. Went pretty quick with some tape & a rattle can.
