6MT Shift Knob

I just noticed, that my Shift Knob in my 2012 TL actually turns.......it's not really loose. Its still actually stiff, but it does move. i don't think it's supposed to do that.....anybody else with the manual tranny notice this with the shift knob? I'm getting close to my service riminder coming on, so is it something i should point out to the dealer?

What do you mean by "shift knob turns"? Do you mean it unscrews from the shifting lever?

Yea, it's pretty stiff.....so i guess i'm not the only one. I don't want to try and tighten it before it cross treads,

Most shift knobs are like that. Same in my 11 4Runner. You just want to tighten it till it's strait and snug. Don't over tighten.
