I just saw the first pics posted, I'm disappointed. It's really subtle. I thought it would be more dramatic? What exactly was done as I'm knew to this whole overlay thing just incase I'm missing the obvious?

My concern actually with those "smoke" overlays is that they look more gray and suits the car great. But if I were to get overlays from Bat (excluding tail since I got those already), could I get a darker shade (more like my existing charcoal ones) that goes along with my crystal black exterior? Also for the fog lights, maybe blue?

I liek the smoles over the refelector, but not over the turn signal, the reflective strip in the front of the FWD distracts from the front end IMO.

The back end is far more dramitic than the front. Mainly because I decided not to smoke the entire headlight as I didn't want to sacrafice light output. The overlay is basically just vinyl tint for your lights. There really isn't much to it. I think it looks best covering the red rear lights. Hopefully those pics are up soon. For the fogs he has other colors, smoke and blue and others.

BuckVegas, I really like the tints. They look sharp. Guys, BlueBatmobile has different shades for the tints. You can make them lightly tinted, a 20% tinting or a very dark tint. Obviously Buck opted for a lighter tints up front. The rear pictures sound like they will be more of a heavy tint. I'm anxious to see them.

Thanks. My overlays are actually 6/10 all around which is close to the 20% on my windows. These pictures actually make the front look lighter than it apprears. The back on top of the red light looks much darker. Hopefully the rear pictures are uploaded soon.

Hey Buck, I had great luck in the CAI. I went to a really professional performance parts shop here in Gaithersburg, MD. They also said they could definitely put in the Short Ram like AFE, they said they were 50% sure they can put the CAI in with a few other parts neccessary so that it would fit right. I'll let you know more about it, maybe they will be nice enough to send AFE some instructions or so. I should be getting back from them in a few days to find out price estimates.

Bat, Just got my PMM Tech with 20% tint and am liking your overlays. I am concerned as to what effect they have on the light output for the brakes and turn signals? Are they a problem safetywise in NJ?
I don't plan on doing the Headlights but the reflectors and rear taillights are fair game.
Your thoughts??

It looks like a lot of brake light shines through so no issues with the Po Po? Buck you gonna get the splash guards? I think it really helps the overall look of the car and give is a baby kit type of feel without being "gaudy".

Ya no issues with any of California's finest. I am actually more worried about my front window tint than my tail lights. I am debating splash guards. My dilemia is if I decide to put on the entire body kit or not. I don't believe they will fit with entire kit? I am probably going to see if ronjon decides to do a kit for the 4g.

I'd really like to see what Ron Jon's kit looks like. The ones I've seen here in the forum are mediocre and actually don't really enhance the TL IMO.

I was told it would be similiar to the new accord kit that they just released. Which looks amazing. I think the demand would have to increase for it to be produced. Hopefully he sells a ton of grilles, I know I am buying one.

The grill is not necessary for me, I actually like the grin blacked out like I have posted before, I just need some rims for my satisfaction and tint/overlays are coming.

Okay, I know this may be a stupid question but I'm new to the tinted/smoked out lights/reflectors. Can we order the pieces already cut if we don't want the entire light smoked out? And when you guys refer to 6/10 Half Tint is this a specific cut like the cut on buckvegas' tail lights? I understand that the 6/10 is basically the same as 20% window tint I'm just a little confused on whether or not "Half Tint" is in reference to a specific cut of the overlay.

All of bluebat's overlays come pre-cut to fit all your lights. 6/10 refers to the shade of tint, which in this case is close to 20%. I know he is offering two rear tail overlays, one which I am using covers only the red portion of the light, the other smokes out the entire light.
