From what I understand, youre going to want to have teh 35W kit due to the closeness of the glass to the bulb. 55W is for headlights.

Yeah, the 35W kit is better for the fog lamps, it also produces better color than the 55w kits. Less wash out. Altough iin my old truck I used 35w in the headlights as well and worked just fine.

Can anyone provide a DIY for installing this HID fog light kit? I have found a 3G guide, but I dont think that everything is going to match up correctly, would rather have a 4G guide. Thanks.

For 3000k I went with 55w I tried 35w and the Color didn't seem as rich, I drive with my fogs on 90% of the time have not had an issue yet

Does one get to the fog lights from the top of the bottom? Do you have to take the bumper off?

technically you can do it without taking the bumper off, its just not recommended.

id suggest to take bumper off so you can mount the HID ballast to the frame.

it only takes about 5 mins to take bumper off btw

for any of the other lights I take the bumper off, for the fogs I take off the screws around the wheel wells which lead to the plastic that connects to the bumper right under the fogs and you can take your hand in there and install them.. but if your plan on changing any other lights - save time - buy them all now do it all in 1 shot
