Talking 2013 TL Specifications

It looks as though the '13 TL will be hitting showrooms very soon with minimal changes. There will be a new color "fathom blue pearl" which in my opinion is nice since I recently saw an ILX on a dealer lot in that color. Additionally, "Taupe" interiors have been renamed "Greystone". More details are in the 2013 Acura TL e-brochure:

http://www.acura.com/ebrochure/ebroc...modelYear=2013

Of note - the brochure mentions how well the TL did in the new IIHS "small overlap frontal crash test" done just a few weeks ago on page 26.

There is also a spec sheet available online:

I'm still very happy with my '11 SH-AWD however. Enjoy!

I'm calling my salesman. Maybe Acura won't cancel my order this time.

Ahhhh the Fathom Blue Pearl isn't available with Ebony interior, and thus MT? Come on!

it sit just me, or do the pictures of the TL in the brochure look like the car is lowered? Wouldn't it be nice if the car came stock like that!

Not feeling the blue, i never did, even when they had the Royal Blue pearl.

I thought the Graphite Luster looked real good in that brochure... especially on page 5-6 and 7-8, it definitely looks lowered!

Yeah, the Fathom Blue Pearl is alright, but my favorite blue on an Acura is definitely the TL-S's Kinetic Blue Pearl.

Definitely lowered (or photo-shopped anyway) for those pics. Be interesting to see if it actually is when they hit the lot. I love my '12 GLM

Yes, Fathom Blue Pearl looks a LOT like the Royal Blue Pearl that was introduced in 2009 with the release of the 4G. I have to agree the TL's color pallet is a bit drab.

What ever happened to Borealis Blue Pearl? I also didn't see Mayan Bronze Pearl on the 2013 color list as well.

I'm thinking Acura could sell more TL's with a better selection of colors...

Those who bought the 2012 model back in 2011 really lucked out for a change. It was not only one of the earliest 2012 models out but with the negligible changes with the 2013 we end up have a "new" model for maybe 3 whole years. This is a nice bonus as it seems with every other car I have bought new there were enough changes the following year that I obviously had last year's model. Thanks Acura.
