2012 TL...up-dated Pics

Here's my ride with a few up-grades...

Tint
Rear mud guards
Rear roof spolier
Wheels and tires

That's it for all the up-grades...I might lower the car in the future but not anytime soon.

Love the car...but don' drive it enough...only got 6500 KM in 10 months....

Very nice, looks sexy... Just curious, if you live in Canada, why not SH-AWD?

Nice looking, but how about the appearance package? On my 09 it make the car look much more sportier.

very nice, but you've got to drive more. your mileage builds up slower than my weekend toy.

couple questions,

Canadian TL comes with front splash guards, where did you get those rears only? I looked and they all come in a set of 4

the roof spoiler looks great on your TL, did you buy that off ebay or some vendor here?

thanks,

Thanks...not sure what the "Appearance package" was? Maybe it was offered in the USA?

Love the Graphite Luster Metallic color instead of the CBP 09 TL I had previous...CBP was so hard to keep clean

thanks,

I know I got to drive more but commuting in the family SUV seems to be all the driving i do.

I think the Canadian TL's only come with front mud guards...my 09 TL came with fronts only too

Purchased the roof spoiler on ebay

I have the same Graphite Luster TL and want to get the roof spoiler. I emailed the eBay vendor (bmwoemshop or something like that) and they need the colour code. Do you know it for our colour?

Do you just peel off tape from the back and stick to the top of the rear window?

Your car looks great

The roof spoiler is a perfect color match and fit. And is very easy to install. Just peel off tape from back and apply crazy glue supplied onto glass and your done.

Code:

NH782M (Graphite Luster Metallic)

How dark is the tint? Is the back window darker than the front?

I take it the tape is sufficient to hold the spoiler and your concern is that once you apply the crazy glue, you're screwed if you ever want it taken off?

I think its 30% all around or 35%. Its the same all around...I think its just the way i took the picture

Its not Crazy glue...i just didn't know what to call the adhesive that came with the product. Its a clear adhesive in a toothpaste shape tube.

I think the tape won't be good enough on its own...i'm sure it can be taken off without damaging the glass

Do you have the link to the rear spoiler page? I found similar pages but none with the black luster metallic code for my 2012. Thanks in advance!

Here's the link...just confirm with seller if they can paint in color code NH782M (Graphite Luster Metallic)

That's what i did...eventhough the auction was for a different color.

Does the rear spoiler block or cover in any way the top brake light?

That is exactly my thought. The spoiler does come with a tube of silicone glue/sealant that some have used. I have used the supplied tape and it is holding up quite well

No it doesn't. It actually helps to increase the visibility of the light.

just ordered. Seller on EBAY was immediate with follow up. Seems very professional...they give you a discount since your car's pic is on website?

Is there a difference in paint code colour? My GLM code on my car door has an "X" after NH782M. Not sure if that's a Canadian variant of the same colour....
