So, a second set of tail lights on my 09 TL have melted due to the chrome reflectors being painted black. I think the all red 2012 tail lights would look good on my 09 TL without the risk of melting. Anyone know if they are the same dimensions as the 09 TL. I would assume so, but they are too expensive to assume. Also, what are your thoughts on how it would look? My TL is (mostly) blacked out.

I am not certain, but I think they are the same size. But from all of the 2012 "changes" conversations, it appears that the only changes were cosmetic (red chrome surrounds vs the silver chrome) without changes to the dimensions of the unit.
