I was expecting them to have chinese actors and would be in Chinese. Reminds me of the Rocky movies.

A bit long and convoluted but, in general, much better than ANY commercials I have seen for Acura here. Perhaps they are more interested in developing a market in places other than the US?

Different marketing strategies for different markets.

China is Acura's next biggest hope. If Acura does well in China, it can do loads to accelerate the brand. Maybe one day Acura products will be designed to cater to the Chinese market, rather than the U.S. market.

There is a total of ONE trim level available for the Chinese market 2012 TL, which is equivalent to the US market 3.5L-V6 FWD TL-tech.

But at a MSRP of RMB 498,000 or US $79,020 (@0.1587 exchange rate), it is marketed as an extremely luxury sedan indeed.

And yeah, I also found it somewhat funny that nobody in the advertisement was Chinese, not even one person. And pretty much everything was written in english.

Overall plot of the commercial was pretty corny, but the TL looked pretty good in the commercial.
