I am new to the forum and as an acura owner. Are there any aftermarket grills for the 12 TL? Ronjon is only one I know about and they are gone. All help welcome lol!
They don't exist. Even the RonJon and the E&G chrome mesh eBay grilles are only for 09-11 front ends. So yeah, your only options are to paint, wrap, or plastidip your current grill or make/buy a custom one.
I made my own last Spring/Summer with a black powdercoated aluminum hex mesh and satin wrapped the trim. If you DIY, expect to spend about $500 in parts if you want to replace everything, plus any other materials and tools (paint, wrap, bodyfiller, Dremel, glue, etc), and probably 30-50 hours of labor (i took my time over months, so hard to estimate exactly how long it took).
If you want to buy a custom grill, I know there was one guy who was making them with the 2019+ TLX diamond mesh grille and emblem inserted into a 2012+ TL grille base, and he wanted $1000+ for them. But not entirely sure if he's taking orders for them either. If you're interested, search in this forum, and a couple people posted his Instagram account.
