2012 TL 6AT question

Good evening. I just purchased a 2012 TL Advance with 11,000 miles on it. I previously owned a 2009 TL Tech.. And the transmissions definitely drives differently (obvious I know). In the 2012 whenever I accelerate slowly, it seems to be fairly sensitive going from 2nd to 3rd (the car seems to want to go faster and sometimes I can feel a slight hesitation). I think it's just part of the character of the transmission, and most of the time I can't really feel it. If pushed hard it shifts perfectly, making me think its normal for this transmission. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated!

I would suggest resetting the ECU so the car learns your driving habits, you never know how the owner before you treated it. Unhook the negative cable from the battery for a good hour, hook it back up, and start driving. The car will learn your style. Make sure you have all your info on the car's nav/radio system, you'll be prompted to put the system ID number back in the computer before your system works properly

i think the only solution for you is to drive it harder then normal.

i personally like the 5at vs the 6at.. gives the car more of a performance feel to it. i like the jerkyness of the 5at. but i hate the mpg..

I haven't noticed anything unusual with my 2012. I so have SH-AWD so the transmissions are slightly different
