Question 2012 Tail lights on 2011 TL

New to the board, I have a 2011 TL SH-AWD and doing some minor work to it. One of the things I don't like about the 2011 model is the tail lights, the chrome housing inside turns me off a little and the 2012 look much better. I've read that the 2012 fits on the 2011, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Yes, it will fit. However, from what I've seen in others on the road the red trim on the 2012+ fades like crazy to where it almost looks silver. Granted I'm in FL but just wanted to throw that out there. Maybe users on AZ have experienced this and can chime in.

Maybe consider red lamin-x on your 2011 tails...

I hate that my 2012 TL tails look pink... I purchased red vinyl film that should be coming in next week. Personally, I would save the money for new tails and just buy the film.

^^ +1.

Agree with you, the pink chrome looks on the 12 does not appeal to me. Either tint with red film or have the done internally the way I did mine.

What would you guys recommend for the front grill?

Thanks for the responses again

Hi Nexson, thanks for the response. New to the board so can't really reply to PMs. I'm located in Canada, what's your email so we can communicate better?

Thanks for help again.

Yes, Nexon does outstanding work, definitely very quality focused and a great guy to deal with.

The drawback you face though is being in Canada, the exchange rate, duties and shipping will be nasty and add significantly to the cost.

Damn that looks dope, did you cover the entire taillight first then cut out the center?
