Just wondering if this was like this for 2011, since Acura already took the build/price feature down for 2011's. I'm looking at the SH-AWD, but don't want to kill myself with all the extra electronic distractions that the Technology Package offers (that's how I'm trying to convince myself to save money ). Anyway, I noticed that you can only get Mayan Bronze Metallic or the Basque Red Pearl if you opt for the Tech package on the SH-AWD. Weird?

I wasn't a fan of the Mayan Bronze Metallic until I saw a real one outside of the online configurator. That color is quite intriguing, but looks like I'm going to have to fork out the dollars for the Tech package just to get that color.

 

Just realized you can still build/price a 2011, and confirmed it is a new restriction. For 2011 any color was available with or without the Tech Package, and now these colors seem to require the Tech package (but only for the SH-AWD not the FWD model, which is even stranger).

 

2011 seemed to have more options but there were still restrictions. The new restrictions suck, to get the color combo I want I would have to by a FWD TL. Don't bother with 6MT unless you like grayscale, a lot. Anyone want to swap a tan interior for a black interior?
