2012 acura tl headlight assembly

hi there

greetings from canada...

i have a 2012 tl sh awd tech...

my drivers headlight has water in it from a crack...

my hid stopped working so i swapped bulbs and it still wont turn on... im guessing its the ballast is bad got one coming in.. how do u swap the ballast

my question is how do you remove the headlight assembly.. i tried searching and cant find anything

I'm not aware of a DIY to remove the headlight either. But you essentially need to remove the front bumper then there should be like 3 bolts to remove the headlight. Those 3 bolts should be fairly obvious.

You should be able to find a DIY to remove the bumper. But essentially to remove the front bumper theres bolts from below, above and in the wheel wells. Then you can slowly pop out the bumper from one side to another.

I've removed the headlight assemblies a couple of times. Yeah, it's just a matter of removing the bumper then unbolting (and unplugging) the headlights. It's a bit of a pain but not as bad once you've done it a couple of times. Just be careful not to force the bumper when removing it. Excess flexing of the bumper can start to crack the paint.
