2011 Acura TL peeling on the grill?
When I got the car almost half a year ago, I noticed the material on the grill was peeling. About a week ago, I noticed there was a second peel beginning. Anyone know how to stop or fix this? I think I'm going to wrap the grill black to match the body paint once it gets warm out.
Thanks!
Thanks!

That’s odd. I only seen something like that on grills that were painted. I don’t think the chrome is supposed to peel. Mine has a bunch of rock chips yet no peeling.

Mine did the same thing, I ended up just getting a new grille bezel. I'm not sure what the grilles are coated with but it feels metallic and will scratch the hell out of your paint. Be careful with it to make sure none of those chips come off.

That material really is dangerous! My friend helped wash and polish my car during the fall and actually cut himself on the first peel.

Echo the be careful...
I was washing the car and cut myself twice. I thought of sealing with clear nail polish or if that doesn't work just replace it. Aftermarket grille assemblies are around $125.
