Hey All,

Just moved to a hot and sunny destination and my 2010 TL no longer has a garage to stay in. I don't want to tint the windows because I'm constantly moving and don't want to commit to having a tint applied and then have to get it removed if I move to somewhere with stricter limits, etc. I know it's a good solution but I am trying to stay away from it. My interior is looking awesome but I know this heat and sun is going to kill my leather and make it start to crack, so I want to get a full-vehicle sun shade kit.

I'm looking for full-car window shades and can't find any for the 2010 model and can't find any. Does anyone know of a full vehicle shade kit for the 2010 TL? Otherwise I've found the WeatherTech ones for the 2015+ TLX and I'm thinking of going with those as they'd be a pretty close match. Is there any other model of Acura that replicates the windows of the TL, or is the TLX my closest option?

I don't know anything about window shades but make sure you condition the leather regularly. That's probably the best way to take care of the leather.

The alternative is a light weight, white, car cover. Then you get protection from paint fade too.

You can get window film with zero tint. Sounds counter-intuitive but the film blocks heat and UV.
