TL Drft

I have 2009 TL and when I was at dealer I had to take loaner out for service. It was 2010 TL w/ Tech package.
And I was really surprised that 2010 shock was much softer than mine..
It felt more like driving something like lexus than acura.. but not bad at all.
anyone knows whats really different between these two model?
is there any information whats been upgraded toward new models?

i dont believe there is a difference.

09-11 is all the same..

it must be a "all in your head moment"

when someone gets in to a "newer year model car" that is newer than what they have, they usually would like to focus on all the goodies that come with it, over exaggerate every little detail in their head.


Like this stereo sounds better than mines, or this year has lower cabin noise, etc... but in the end, its all the same.

I think Acura puts the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 tires on the tech models and gives the Bridgestone EL-400 for the base. If that is the case, this is the obvious main difference. It's also probably due to different tire tread life, air pressure, and shock age as well as use.

did you get the FWD version as a loaner? those are much softer in terms of ride compared to the AWD.
