Wow Plushter...that isn't bad. Very shiny...please post some pics when you can use your regular camera. It will give a different perspective to those who didn't like the original nose.

I think the development to make a mold that is a 1 piece grill that bolts in is going to be very pricey, hence the cost of the mesh grill. I was hoping that the inner piece would be removed and easily replaced with something, but after taking mine off, any aftermarket grill will need to be one big piece that replaced the inner and outer.

Hey CleanCL, did you have to remove the front bumper to get the grill off? I got my painted grill back in Dec. but still haven't got around to installing it due to fear of breaking something.

I agree it's a little "chromey", but it beats the hell out of the stock grille IMO.
More than anything, it looks like a CTS-V grille to me, but since the rest of the car (especially the back-end) is also CTS-ey, it fits in.

I still say the Ronjon grille is the best design we've seen thus far, but the mesh grille is not too bad...yes, a little Escalade-esque, but if they just painted the outer rim body color, the overall design would be improved (quick PS job below)...

I still have the stock grill stored away in my garage. If rust or something else were to happen to the chrome grill, I could always put the stock grill back on.
I appreciate all of the feedback. We all have our own opinions and I respect them all. This is just what I decided to do with my TL. I am interested to see what other people will do with theirs. I am always open to other options.

how bout a whole front end conversion kit?? that would be the only way youre getting that car to look good
agree with ron and others that the mesh looks like it should be on a big GM truck or something along the lines of that...
happy TL'ing

I like the mesh grill except I would paint the chrome surrounding the same color as the car and the mesh black. The 4th gen has a lot of potential.

I can't took at the Chrome Mesh Grill on 4G TL, makes me think of Cadillac...
C'mon guys, don't you think it's hideous?
Just go get a Cadillac instead...
I rather have the painted like another Ziner did... Looks better...

The mesh grills still look huge, but if it could line up flush with the headlights and not protrude up into the hood, I think I would seriously consider getting a 4G TL 6MT if Acura's still gonna make it.

Emailed RJ regarding their grill: As of this month, they have "started." They will have grills ready for purchase in 2 mos. They sent me a big image of the grill, but I can't figure out how to insert it here.... dammit!

Host it somewhere as mentioned (I prefer Photobucket). If you don't get the tagging right, I'll clean it up so it shows. Just make sure you inlude the full hosting url/link.
