2009/2010 TL Pass thru size

hi,
can someone pls post the rear passenger seat pass thru size / dimensions? height and width.

given the seats do not fold down, i want to know how many pairs of skis and/or snowboards will fit thru.

also Thule shows it does not have a fit kit for the 2009/10 model as well. any suggestions?

i am considering the 2010 6sp SH-AWD
thanks in advance, oo7

Not use about the size, but I just picked up 2 pairs of ski's and I think it can take 2 more easy. I was surprised at how easy it took it and how it didn't come into the cabin as much as I Though it would have.

Measures about 8 inches side-to-side and about 7 3/4 inches top to bottom.

Which rack are you thinking of? It would be interesting to see which one(s) fit on the 4G TL.

The Yakima has a rack available for about 600 total when I looked last time.
I don't know how it's gonna fit since the TL has no clips on the roof.

I was hoping to re-use my Thule rack off my 2000 Maxima and just get a new fit kit. (normally under $50). Not sure Thule will make one given the car volumes sold are low.

Thule list nothing for the 2009/2010 model.
Yakama has 2009 only, but not 2010 (but given they are the same, it should fit the 2010). Most likely hooks the inside of your roof where the top door window frame meets. My Maxima fit kit was precise where the door frame did not touch the hooks.

In light of the upcoming snow season, I stopped by REI (a Pacific Northwest favorite). They have various Yakima ski racks available for the 09 TL (which I assume it will fit on the '10 TL).

For a package of Q towers, crossbars, Q clips, and locks, it looks the entire package can be had for ~$300. It appears relatively easy to install, ~25min per sales rep.

Does anyone have pics of a 4G TL with a roof/ski rack installed?

Do you know if Thule has any for the 09 TL? I have some pieces of Thule for my previous Maxima that I can reuse (e.g., the cross bars and all the accessory mounts).

I checked online, and it does not appear that Thula manufactures racks for the 4G TL.

Inside the REI store, as well as REI online, they only had a Yakima guide I perused.

Not to totally hijack this thread but does anyone know why the rear seats don't fold down?

Is there a chassis brace behind the seats or something?

On another thread a while ago someone mentioned bracing and a stiffer chassis.
