I am looking to buy a car soon and an torn between the two. One is a 2008 acura rl with 58k miles for 18.5 and the the other is a 2009 acura tl Tech with 51k miles for about 20 which would be the better deal can anyone tell me any differences in why one would.be better than the other or suggestions....there was also another RL with 74k miles for about 15.5 i was considering

Have you test driven both of them? What were your thoughts on both cars?

Ultimately, I would say the decision should be solely placed on what you think and not what others say because they aren't the ones that will be purchasing the car. With that said, if you want my opinion go for the TL. I think you even might be able to find a 2010 model with around 50k miles give or take for about $20-$21k too.

You need to test drive both cars to see what you like better. I test drove a lot of cars before buying my TL this week. I would say TL because I love the car.

Get the RL if you like a smoother ride (not necessarily quieter). The TL is more sporty and gets slight better gas mileage.

I used to own a '08 RL. Be sure to check if the propeller shaft has been replaced (it's common for them to fail). It is made of carbon fiber and costs $2-3K to replace. Luckily my car was a CPO . . . .

The RL would look dated, that was the last year before the mmc. I would say the TL would look more current and would keep a higher resale value.
