20" Concept One CS-5.0 to go!
I have 2 days before I turn my car into the dealer for trade and I need a set of TL-Sh awd factory wheels with good tires. I will take the trade with 400.00 firm please no low ballers! The wheels are Concept One 5 x 120 CS-5.0 Matte black machine finish with General G-Max tires with about 100 miles on them. Fronts: 20x9 245/35/20 Rears: 20x10.5 255/35/20. the rear offset has been custom shaved so that the fitment works on a lowered car or stock suspension set-up w/o rolling fenders. One owner and I have the original receipts. The wheel locks / lugs / factory TPMS sensors are included. The wheels are not perfect but still look great and ride smooth! Washington DC/ MD/ VA Local pick up only! Any questions just ask!

Just for the sake of conversation, does the dealer penalize you if you do not return the vehicle with stock wheels? My gut feeling tells me yes, but that it can also vary on severity or maybe not even apply depending on many variables such as your relationship with the dealer, among many other factors.

I think it can be hit or miss from a buyers prospective. A safe generalization is that everyone wants to be the second owner of a vehicle previously owned by an elderly woman, whom rarely drove. Without getting too into details, the only mod I'd overlook without thinking twice is tints, unless they're too dark.

Does this mean your replacement will be another Acura? If so which? Or were you implying staying within the same dealership network?

I feel ya. GL with the Hyundai Genesis though. I'm sure you got a helluva deal considering a redesign is coming soon later this year.

The wheels are gone and so is the TL. A 4x Acura owner is gone. I am the new owner of Genesis R-spec sedan. A car that no Acura TLX or RLX will ever outperform period. I'm tired of the secrets, mediocre designs and passive approach to marketing their cars. By now the TLX / the NSX should be in magazines. Acura has the nerve to take deposits on cars that their customers never seen and know nothing about. I'm done.
I agree with all your points, that said the Genesis might not by as sweet as you're imagining it to be. I've read comments from Acurazine members in cartalk and locals in person that it rides like a boat.

They knew about ronjon wheels and how they were custom for Acura/Honda and the first thing they said was wheels must come off if you have stocks. They would've given me less money if i would've traded it in with the wheels. Now the tints and the Ron Jon Grille they didn't care about. They said they couldn't certify the car without the factory wheels.

You need to drive the R Spec it has different suspension tuning and rides nothing like a boat. It actually handles very well and rides tight.

The Genesis has no limiters. 0-60 4.8 1/4mile 13.0 with bolt on will run mid 12 sec passes. It pulls like a freight train with that 8 spd trans !

Hell yeah they will. I know it doesn't matter at this point since he's gotten rid of the car and wheels. But when went to trade in my 11 TL for the ZDX i had ron jon wheels on.

I've yet to drive any Hyundai besides a Sonata rental, there's a cheapness about them that I can't verbalize. I hope you enjoy your new car though

I have seen 13.0 for a stock model and 12.7 with exhaust / intake. After driving it I can see why the times fluctuate because it has soo much Torque that it nose dives into traction control frenzy until it grips then yanks you down the road. That alone could drop a few tenths. I mastered the launch and pulled hard with no bogging out.
