It includes an oil change, brake cleaning and visual inspection. for 200, apparently its recommended. I guess the inspection is good since wheels and suspension is going on soon, so any problems might be caught before hand.

Is the brake cleaning necessary at this mileage?

they clean the calipers and pads by scrubbing rust and crap off of it.

To be honest I don't know... I've had my brakes checked every oil change, they measure the size that is left. Maybe that's something they do, but I don't recall them calling it that....

$200 for a 10,000mile service is pretty expensive. Mine's usually $200 for every 15K miles and then $400 ish for every 30K miles. They usually catch everything. For my RSX they just caught that my power steering fluid was turning black so the checkups are worth it to me.

In between the 15K and 30K I usually decline all the extra services and just go for the oil changes and tire rotations.

The B service simply means oil and filter (A is oil only) unless other numbers follow: this is explained in your owner's manual and service booklet. A brake visual inspection is nice but should cost very little, if anything. Brake cleaning is definitely not mentioned or required by Honda: I suspect it's something that the dealer is trying to tag on to justify the total cost: it's a nice try but I would decline, respectfully.

I do the oil service and just did the rear fluid. That is all I ever do, I change my own air and cabin filters and when the brakes need to be changed I'll let the dealer do that. I buy lifetime rotate and balance with road hazard form Discount Tires and go there every time after my oik change to get tire rotated. I don't see me needing much else as this is 39 month lease and should have around 50K miles when I turn it in.
