That was with 1/2 tank. The few I did most recently I made note in the thread I was almost empty.
But realistically, and I know from track experience, the only way to really see a difference with how much gas is in the tank is when you run the 1/4 mile, not 0-60. And between full and say 1/4 tank, roughly what I weigh, 130 lbs, it's hard to measure in the time. At best it's 0.1 in the 1/4, cause you have so many other variables. The people who take out their spares, jack etc.. run on 1/4 tank are the really obsessed people, going for the absolute best time.. and yes I did it long ago. For someone on the edge of 14.0 who wants that 13.9 for bragging rights, having a 1/4 tank may just do it. But I've seen a few idiots run out of gas in the staging lanes..
