Completely Dead 2022 MDX Advance

Two days ago I got home, shut the car off and while I was walking away, the beeper sounded as if I had left it running and taken the key fob. Since the car wasn't running, I ignored the sound.

About an hour later, I went to start the car and it was dead. Nothing. No sounds, no lights, no instrument lights, nothing on the fob would work, nothing. Had to go out, and still dead when I got back about 4 hours later.

Jumped it and it started,. Let it run for a bit and now, everything is just fine. Puzzling.

Have a call in to the dealer but just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts.

Thanks.

I think you may have accidently hit the start button twice. once to shut off the second time put the Acura in accessary mode and drained the battery.

Actually, this makes sense. The MDX is the wife's care. I have a BMW that requires pushing the ignition twice to turn it off completely. I was driving that day and may have pushed it twice out of habit. Been fine since.

Glad I read this thread. I think I may have inadvertently done this once, but luckily I wasn't away from the car for too long. Now I know. Thanks for that info.
