Continue XM Streaming After Engine Stop

Is there a setting that would sync the shutdown of the XM radio to opening of the driver’s door? When I shut off the engine the radio immediately shuts down, as does the infotainment screen. I then have to press the start button to reload it in accessory mode. It’s a PITA.

I don't know, but do know that my XM radio remains on and playing after I shut off the engine, and doesn't stop until I open a door. So it's either a setting, or a difference between models/model years. Mine is a 2024 Type S.

Unfortunately for the 2026 Advance model year there is no way to prevent the entertainment system from shutting down when the engine is shut off. This is according to a response I received directly from my Acura Customer Service inquiry. I don’t know if it is a quirk for the Advance model or all 2026 models but it is annoying.
