Hi there... Since google did not yield anything, I figured I would ask here... Does anyone know who the OEM is that Acura uses for the rotors on the 2022 MDX (Adv, not Type S). The reason I am asking is because the braking surface of the rotors DOES NOT RUST. I have never seen this before, but these rotors just do not rust. Hoping to figure out who makes them for Acura...

 

I don't have the answer, but look for any rotor with FNC coating (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferr...trocarburizing) and you should get the same rust-free result.

 

Very interesting. Looks like you are right on the money. Weird that Acura and GM are the only ones using this technology. It seems to work very well.
