22 Acura MDX I’m thinking of using synthetic oil any brand that anyone can suggest - mobile 1 Valvoline etc.

 

any brand.
there is no perceivable difference.
your engine will not know the difference.

the most important aspect is to change the oil regularly. either when the computer tells you too, or once a year.

 

I would also stick with the viscosity rating on the oil cap. I haven't had to add any oil additives with the 5 Acura's I've had/have and switched to Mobil 1 full syn after the first M.I.D. service that popped up when buying new or used.

 

are they calling for 0w-20 in the new MDXs also? if so, i wouldn't follow what's on the cap...

 

Not following what you mean by not using the printed viscosity rating on the engine oil filler cap for the MDX?
