Anyone having the same issue? I previously owned a 2020 RDX and I've noticed that I got both visual (Brake) + audible alerts during the first stage when the CMBS kicks in.

However, I just switched to 2022 MDX a few weeks ago, and I'm only getting visual alerts when it triggers CMBS.

Is this normal to everybody? Or it's just me?

My wife's 2018 Honda CR-V has a similar system like my MDX.
There are times, however, when only a visual comes on and not the audible warning.
I think it depends on how close you are to an object and how fast you're going...

Also, on p.482, it states, "the CMBS may not go through all of the stages before initiating the last stage".

 

I think you may be able to switch to either or both through the settings

 

I've been searching through settings but wasn't able to find it. It will be appreciated if you find it and share it with me so I may take look at mine. Thanks!

 

Sorry, it was for ACC that you can do it, thought it was for both. Maybe go to dealer and see. I think I got it mixed up with the RDX I had.
