Did not see a previous thread so thought I would start one to keep the recalls together:

American Honda Recalls 259,000 Vehicles in the U.S. to Inspect Brake Pedal Assemblies

June 18, 2025 — TORRANCE, Calif.
  • Issue could cause lateral movement in the brake pedal, which may cause unintended application or compromise the driver's ability to slow or stop the vehicle
  • Following an inspection, dealers will replace the brake pedal assembly if necessary, at no cost to the owner
  • American Honda has not received any confirmed reports of crashes or injuries related to this issue
American Honda will voluntarily recall about 259,000 Honda and Acura vehicles in the U.S. to inspect the vehicles' brake pedal assemblies.

Registered owners of all affected models will be contacted by mail in July and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda or Acura dealer for an inspection and, if necessary, the dealer will replace the brake pedal assembly at no cost to the owner.

Due to a manufacturing error by a supplier, the brake pedal pivot pin may not have been staked, which may allow the pedal to shift out of position. This could result in lateral movement of the brake pedal, which may cause unintended application or compromise the driver's ability to safely slow or stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. The issue could also cause an abnormal brake pedal feeling during operation, illuminate the brake malfunction light in the instrument cluster, or cause the vehicle's brake lights to remain lit even when the brake pedal is not applied.

American Honda is announcing this recall to encourage owners of affected vehicles to take them to an authorized dealer for repair as soon as they receive notification. Replacement parts are available for the repair. Owners of these vehicles can also determine if their vehicles require an inspection by visiting www.recalls.honda.com or www.recalls.acura.com, or by calling (888) 234-2138.

List of recalled U.S. models (confirm inclusion by checking specific VINs):

Honda Models
2023-2025 Honda Pilot

Acura Models
2023-2025 Acura MDX
2021-2025 Acura TLX

I've been seeing a lot of negative experiences. Anyone have positive experiences? Mainly the actual work done rather than getting an appointment or a loaner.

No complaints here. Took about an hour, in and out.
