2022 ASPEC : Garage fit !

Anyone bought a 2022 ASPEC MDX yet and tried to fit into a double door garage ? My 2017 MDX and my 07 TL fit in fine through both doors but Im reading reviews that the 2022 is too wide to fit into a double door garage and Im heading to Acura on Wednesday to sign the paperwork for my 2022 .

Hoping someone has tried to fit it into a 2 door garage and can share some info? Im more worried about the width - the length should be okay since my 2017 fits in with length to spare. (any pics? would be great ! )

I have a 2nd Gen 11 MDX parked next to a 3rd Gen 19 MDX in my garage. My 2nd Gen is wider and has more room in the cabin and my 3rd Gen MDX is longer. Both have the almost the exact width between the side mirrors of around 88". I have to park my 11 MDX on the left straight on and I angle the front end of my 19 MDX to the right so I can exit the 19 MDX without hitting the other SUV. You might be A-OK with the +22 MDX has around the same distance between the mirrors and you can park the other vehicle at sight angle. I also have an oversized 950sq/ft 3 car garage.

Thanks - If i had a single garage door i think it should be okay but my issue is i have 2 doors with a pillar in between so each door is wide enough to fit in the 17 MDX but Im just not sure if the 2022 MDX will squeeze in - dont want to keep rubbing mirrors on the doors - I have a feeling my wife will keep hitting the mirrors each time and shes too nervous to close them too since she needs them to back up ! Fun times - still buying the MDX but oh well !

At my last house, the double 2-car garage door opening was a little tight for both MDXs. I ended up crushing my passenger side mirror on my 11 MDX on the garage door frame backing out. I hit the mirror on the frame occasionally in the past; but, it would just fold back when I did. Unfortunately, I hit it just right and crushed it instead. You might have become a pro at pulling in and backing out of your garage with the mirrors tucked in.

I have a 2022 on order but dealer let me drive one home to make sure it fit. I have a two door garage and one side has my 2020 ram 1500. The 2022 mdx fit just fine next to it

Mine fits in my separate door garage, but just barely.

Gotta be careful not to hit the mirrors backing in. I wish my garage was about 4 feet wider with an extra 2 feet in each door.

I had this concern with my 2-door garage. It was unfounded.

No problems pulling in or backing out. I definitely fold my mirrors, though, when I'm getting close to the threshold where that middle pillar is (I hate that thing! lol). Even with the mirrors extended, I have about 3 inches of clearance on each side (based on measurements of the garage door opening and the car's dimensions from mirror tip to mirror tip). I still will never cross the threshold without folding the mirrors, nor will I back into the garage (that's for the next house with a 2-car garage with only one large door [no garage pillars!]).

That looks to be the same size as my garage - whew ! Big sigh of relief ...thanks!

This is great..thanks ! The pillars are really annoying - theres more than enough space in the garage to fit 2 cars easily enough but folding the mirrors is going to be a challenge for the wife...lol. We will see how she does. Right now both the MDX and TL fit in snug enough.

If I can fit the wide butt of our former ZDX next to our MDX'es, you're good!

Btw, please tell me you guys don't have kids with those unbelievably clean/empty garages. In the pic below, that entire 3rd garage is full of my kids' crap and it encroaches at every angle in my 2-car garage side! (luckily I can still shoehorn in 2 cars). Even my Gladiator

Picked up the 22 and she fits in all snug. I was able to go in and out without having to fold the side mirrors either- its definately wider but not crazy wide so thanks everyone! Whew👍
