Pics of my NEW car (pssh, it's the enemy!)

Alright, so I knew I started a thread about three weeks ago about what car I wanted to buy, so I decided I should fill you guys in about what I bought. By the way, thanks for everyone's help from that thread. I picked up my new baby on Tuesday. These pics are taken from yesterday's Ross Dock meet in Jersey. I know that not everyone explores the meet forum, so I decided to post my car's own pics here. Either way, everyone should definitely look at the pics everyone took because it was a fantastic meet with some great cars and even better Acura heads. And yes, I know I'm a traitor, but I couldn't pass this car up for the price I got it for! Plus the RL for almost the same price is a real bore!

CAR: '06 Infiniti M45 Sport with stock aero kit and lip spoiler, tinted windows (for now)
POSSIBLE TO-DO LIST:
1) cleared or color-matched headlights
2) 19'' stock chromes
3) chrome A-pillars
4) clear LED taillights
5) M45 license plate frames (in the mail as we speak)
6) hack DVD/NAV screen
7) TVs?
...who knows what else I could think of?

(*CREDIT GOES TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK THESE PICTURES, I DID NOT TAKE THESE*)

Here it is! Enjoy guys!

At the dealership... my old Acura on the left passed along to the wolves at the dealership. R.I.P. my '03 TL-S - if anyone on the board sees that car for sale, scoop it up! haha

Aggressive front... the 335 horses are waiting for you!

Side profile.

That notorious rear. It's still growing on me, but the car is still great either way.

REVIEW:
I've had the car for six days, and it is MILES ahead of my Acura in terms of an all-around package. The V8 is quiet for city driving, but when you hit it, it moves and sounds like a true V8! Oddly enough, my favorite thing about this car is that it doesn't offer that token G35 exhaust note, but instead it offers a V8 exhaust note that certainly means business. I still have 263 miles on it so I haven't really hit it yet, but you could tell that this car PULLS at any RPM. The torque in this bad boy is just addictive. I'm trying to take it easy - for now, at least. And yes, it is definitely a lot quicker than the old Ack.

As for the interior, it's certainly my favorite part of the car. I got everything except the mobile entertainment system, which I deemed unnecessary since I don't have any four year-olds (or at least I don't think I do! ) The ''ATM dashboard'' that was knocked on by the car magazines is efficient and I still think it looks alright, the NAV screen is excellent, and the rear-view camera is the best part of this car by far. I had to fit into a really tight spot in Queens on Austin Street the other night with the lady and it was a breeze! Every new car should come equipped with this because half of this world has no idea how to park! I didn't think I'd like the gauges but the solar gauges actually fit the other accents of the car. I've already used the ventilated seats and they are great as well. As for the ride quality, it is EXCELLENT. I have driven BMW's and Mercedes' before and it offers similar comfort without the harder (yet better quality) leather used in most German automobiles. I feel like I could drive to Canada every single day with this bad boy. It is just a great all-around machine.

I give the M45 Sport two thumbs up!
I'll post more pics up when I do some more work to the car. And don't worry, I'm not going to leave the board anytime soon unlike most others that drop their Acuras!

Well, if I decide to chrome out the stock wheels, which I certainly might do because I think the gunmetal clashes with the red pearl, I'd have to chrome out the pillars too because everything else would be chrome. I was also thinking about buying carbon fiber pillars and MAYBE painting them red carbon fiber, but I don't know. The car is not even a week old yet, still thinking of ideas.

i love the RL, had it almost a year now. i was lookin into sportier cars, like a G35 coupe and a new vette. they were just to small for me... im a big guy (6'2, 300) and drivin either one of them on a daily basis would have been just to uncomfortable. i dont regret my decision at all... especially if i order those goddamn RJ devotions

Bad choice. i wouldn't buy one of those things if you gave it to me. Watch out for the front end "skip" 'cuz it's pretty dangerous. and there's a problem with Nissan's V8 that i wouldn't ever risk buying that car. that's VERIFIABLE!

fukken fanboi traitor!

Nice choice and color..I was parked next to you at the meet and just kept staring at the ride. I love the interior on that thing the seats feel like a lazy boy and the rugs are nice and soft too. Gas is too crazy for a V8 , enjoy the ride and I hope you don't get too many nicks on your bumper from people trying to park.

Back on topic (sort of), I do not even want to imagine the insurance premium for a 19 y/o male with a 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport.....particularly in the NYC area.

I did want an S4 about six months ago, but I test-drove it and realized it was too small for me. The dealership I went to also wanted somewhere near $900 a month on a lease, which I found to be crazy for that car. Plus I wasn't going to buy a manual since I drive in the city every single day, so the purpose of the S4 was pretty much defeated. Good memory Jesal.

Daddy's paying for the insurance in another part of New York other than New York City where insurance isn't too high, so it really isn't too expensive in that area. So yes, Daddy is actually contributing. I would be lying if I said that he wasn't. There's no way I could afford this car insured completely on my own.

I'm paying for the car payment, which is $700/39 months on a lease with no money down. I think that's a reasonable payment for a $60k car. I have a pretty good job that I am extending to pretty much seven days a week during the summer (my gf is working for Cantor Fitzgerald this summer, so good thing I'll be busy too) and I go to NYU during the school year, so I definitely don't sit on my ass. I also save the majority of the money I make, so I have the money to spend on a car since this is pretty much my only expense at this point in my life.

By the way, I'm getting 11.2 miles per gallon and I have 320 miles on the car! Hopefully I'll get it up to 15 mi/gal by the summertime!

Just think what you could buy with the $27,300 you're throwing away on that lease.

My thoughts exactly.

Nice car, but I'd rather have an accord and an extra $500/month in my pocket.

Also I can't believe anyone would even consider a car that gets 11 miles per gallon, but to each his own.
