NJ/NY Ross Dock Meet: April 30th

Location: Ross Docks. Fort Lee, NJ
Date and Time: Sunday April 30th, 1PM

I'll keep this updated. I'm gonna try to plan a cookout or a bbq for this one. If the cookout is possible, i'll start the meet a little bit earlier.

I missed GSP meet today, had some things to take care of, sorry for not being able to make it. Maybe we should've started this planning a little earlier, but will do what i can to get the bbq thing going. i will sponsor alot of money into this to get what i can depending on the people that do sign up for this, so please try to make it guys.

If also, people can make the saturday rather than the sunday, please post up also. Since it would be nice to check out some rides that i havent seen yet and get to know some of you new guys that joined us..

start adding name to list and let's get this meet going!

aaronnn, I think we should do it like we've done in the past. Everyone just paypal $5 bucks to one person, and just go to Costco and get the stuff for the amount of people that payed. That has always worked out well in the past, that way if someone isn't able to come at the last minute, we're not stuck needing anything.

And we don't need a grill, just the utensils (I have those from last year) some charcol and all that, but that would be paid for from the funds.

And no one bring Alcohol!!! If you do and so much as take it out of your trunk I will personally kick your ass. If you cannot have fun without it I have pity for you and this is coming from an alcoholic. The police will not hesitate to kick us out and write us all tickets for everything illegal on our cars if they see it and the last thing we need is some cop giving us shit. We're there to have a good time, so no one ruin it for us.

if this list doesnt build up and people starts canceling, i WILL put all the foods into my credit card, plus i have an empty trunk, so i'll do all the shopping.

i'll bring everything down to the meet and have some people help me out with the setting up. you guys can pay/donate to me afterwards..

and thanks for the heads up brett..

oyeah also, just as brett said, please no alcohol. yes i know i was drinking last year, but it IS a state park and IS illegal to be drinking there, plus its gonna be broad daylight.
let's keep it clean and not get kicked out this time. let's enjoy our day together at Ross docks!

We don't need one, the park has grills that we can use. We just need Charcol, Lighter Fluid, some tinfoil and the cooking utensils for the grill.

Its not gonna be in any GPS, its kind of a weird location.

Driving directions to Ross Dock
Or let me know and I will help you out, it's very easy, If you know how to get to the GWB Jersey side, you will get there w/o any problems, a little tricky getting in but you guys should be fine. It's right under the GWB, next to the Hudson river...

this will help to get you all the way there (lpicks up where the link kahrupt posted leaves off)...

(sorry some of the pics aren't the greates, but they were taken from in my car and my camera sucks)
After you turn onto River Road, go 1/4 mile and the entrance will be on your left.
You'll see this sign http://community.webshots.com/photo...193026772tdrfII

* As a point of reference, this building is across the street from the entrance. It will be on your right.
http://community.webshots.com/photo...193026882IctVYm

The entrance will be on the left side of it, and it looks like this http://community.webshots.com/photo...193027022ApOdTw Stay to the LEFT. THe right takes you down to some shacks and stuff.

You'll go down a road that looks like this for almost over a mile (not sure, didn't measure) http://community.webshots.com/photo...193027141qrAXzw but theres no where to turn off so it isn't that hard.

You'll pass directly under the GWB http://community.webshots.com/photo...193027271dEgTEp

Then you'll come to a little circle. Just stay to the right. http://community.webshots.com/photo...193027376ytncMl

And here is the entrance to the park http://community.webshots.com/photo...193027495udiajp

Sounds fun and I wanna go but I don't know what I'm gonna be doing that weekend because it's gonna be my first weekend back from "vacation".

I don't wanna say a definitive yes/no yet. But if I go, Supra and ghost, we should meet up and go up there together cause I know at least I'll get lost lol
