These wheels are sick! I want them right MEOW!! not sure about the brembo clearance issue I know that the +35 XXR 530 wouldnt clear so I would say no, would prolly need to go with a +20 or +35 and spacers

Might want to share the radius and width of the wheel you're referring to. Just knowing the offset means nothing. Also, it's "+35", not "35+".

I see you went 17x9.75 +20 but the xxr +35 will NOT clear a brembo brake in anything I have seen that's out.
You would need a minimum of 6mm spacer is what I have seen and that's cutting it close.

Ordered these, should be here today but its snowing its ass off and might not make it. Got 18x8.75 +20 all around. I plan on rolling (maybe pulling), 225/40 tires, camber kits Fr and R, and coils. This setup will fit correct?
There is a member who shall remain nameless, that is convinced these will not fit on my car. Proving him wrong will be oh-so sweet!

^^^ yeah am very convinced that +20 with a 225 tire (if you are tucking) will not fit without fender rolling AND running some neg camber....
as I mentioned if you are not tucking tire, you will be just fine (like am not tucking tire and I am able to run this setup just fine)
my setup is 225 tire on OEM rims with a 25mm spacer....so essentially 225 on +20....note since its on a 8" rim, there is no tire stretch, on a 8.75" rim, there will be some stretch and hence an ability to go a tad bit lower....but you can see how the fender is riding on the tire...also, am running -1 camber in the rear

Matt, if I am figuring this out right, you will have to roll your fenders, run -1.5 to -2 degs camber if you plan on tucking tire

Why wouldn't they fit? You'll be fine. 8.75" on the rear is not very aggressive. You should roll the fenders, but you don't need a "pull". I know people with 18x9+20 rear wheels with a good drop and no stretch...and the wheels are still slightly sunk, so with 18x8.75+20 you'll have a ton of room.
am just trying to learn and want to know what do you mean by "the wheels are still slightly sunk"? is it the construction/etc or just that you feel +20 will be sunken in?
also how is the +20 different from +20 of OEM rims (running 25mm spacer)?
also I did read on Jeremy's thread as well that he is running 18x9 +24 in the rear and +29 upfront wrapped in 225 tires and he mentioned he has no room in the rear and he was running a -1 camber in the back...I know he has his fenders rolled as well....
again am trying to learn and not questioning your judgement....

"Sunk" is the inverse of "poke", like this:
There are a lot of factors that go into it...ride height, natural camber, added camber, etc. If you aren't that low, then 18x8.75+20 will look relatively flush with the rear fenders. If you're pretty low, then the natural camber will "tuck" the top of the rear wheels in, creating the sunk look. Regardless, there will be plenty of rear fender clearance, especially with 225/40's.
Jeremy's fitment is tight because of his camber. At -1, you eliminate all of the natural camber. If he ran -3 camber, he'd have a ton of fender clearance. His fitment is sick because it's not sunk and he doesn't have to run crazy negative camber to make the wheels fit without rubbing.

ok so kinda what I said in post #23 that if you are not tucking tire, you should be fine...
am still not sure on how tucking tire with +20 wont result in rubbing....i know GeeDan has +20 with rolled fenders and he still rubs upfront on a incline/decline when he turns his wheels....he was thinking of doing 215 or a smaller sidewall on 225 (not sure on which option will help him better, i was thinking of 215 would work better)....
either way, Matt, I really want to see your setup work....I just dont want you to make the same mistake I did....

You will be fine with 8.75 +20 and 225 tires. There's 40 pages of xxr posts that include this same exact setup. I just switched from 235 to 225 tires and some slight rubbing went completely away. I have rolled fenders and -1 camber front and rear but with plenty of space still
Geeteedan has some rubbing but he's also dropped like 3" haha

I think it all comes to how low you end up going....
I think Dan and Tyler are pretty equally low...Dan is rubbing with 225 on +20 and Tyler was severely rubbing with 235 on +30 (+45 Aspec wheels with 15mm spacer upfront)...he ended up going with 215's upfront....
also Austin is not as low as Dan and Tyler and he did mention, he was rubbing with 235 tires on +30 wheels....
after reading all those comments, I was pretty sure that its gonna be rub city for anyone going for more than a moderate drop on +20 with 225....if going +20, I think I would go for 215 rubber....
I for one am eager to see Matt's setup....hoping that after seeing it first hand, I will be able to gauge better....
